Overview

This compact yet powerful T-130K and T-230K can seal thick films, laminated bags, and gusset bags with the machine structure that can generate the strong seal pressure. Highly flexible braided heating elements are equipped on both top and lower levers to seal these thick bags.

Securely seal thick gusset bags

Gusset bags, mainly used for loose-leaf tea and coffee bean, are usually thick due to evaporated aluminum film, especially with four sheets overlapping in the back as shown in the illustration below. It requires powerful pressure and heat to clamp and to melt, which ordinary sealers cannot provide.
T series sealers are configured to heat the bag not only from the bottom but also from the top (double-heating method), as well as to apply enhanced and powerful sealing pressure, which enables it to seal bags with a total thickness of up to 0.5 mm. The thickest part of the illustrated bag consists of four overlapped films, which means single film up to 0.125 mm can be sealed.
Total thickness 0.5 mm / 4 sheets = 0.125 mm per sheet.

Notification lamp and ending sound

Sealing process can be visually confirmed by a notification lamp.
The heat/cool lamp turns red during heating. It turns blue during cooling, which is vital for beautiful seals. When the lamp turns off, a beep will be heard, indicating the sealing is complete.

Simple operation

1 Use the heating time adjustment dial to set appropriate heating time for the bag.

2 Place a bag on the sealing area.

3 Pull the pressure handle toward you until you hear a click that turns the microswitch on. The heat / cool lamp lights up in red and heating starts.

4 When the heating is finished, the heat/cool lamp lights in blue and cooling starts.

5  Cooling is complete when the blue color of the heat / cool lamp turns off and a beep sounds.  Lift the pressure handle up to its initial position and remove the bag (film) from the seal area.

Good for a variety of packaging materials

At the time of factory shipment, the sealing pressure is set for a standard-thickness bag. The appropriate sealing pressure differs depending on the material and the shape of the bag. To ensure complete seals, please modify the sealing pressure with the pressure adjustment nut as needed.

Equipped with the braided heating element

The T-130 and T-230K use highly flexible, braided heating elements that absorb significant unevenness to seal thick film and laminated bags, as well as thick gusset bags.
Braided heating elements are made of braided, thick nickel-chrome wires, characterized by their high flexibility.
Compared to conventional ribbon heating elements, braided heating elements allow the sealing of more uneven bags (s8ch as gusset bags) to prevent the content from spilling. They are a highly durable heating element, configured to sustain minimal damage despite repeated use.
In addition, because the edge of the heating element is rounded, the resulting seal is secure, without any "edge cuts."

Braided heating element

Please note the following points with the seal made by the braided heating element.

1.  The sealing has a braided, mesh-pattern look.

2. The sealing finish may vary by product, and after each replacement of the heating element.

3. The braided heating element and the ribbon heating element differ in their thicknesses. Heating time and seal pressure readjustment may be necessary after heating element replacement between two different types. When the seal is not clean, readjust the heating time and seal pressure referencing the information below. The factory setting is set for the braided heating element.
